Alternative uses for Coke Print E-mail

As you know we recommend that you not drink soft drinks. Well, if you have quit drinking that Coke and have a few bottles or cans hanging around, here are some things you can use it for:

  • To loosen a rusted bolt; Apply a cloth soaked in coca-cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes
  • To remove grease from clothes; Empty a can of coke into the load of greasy clothes, add detergent and run through regular cycle. Coca-cola will help loosen those grease stains.
  • To remove road spray film from your windshields, just pour coke onto the windshield and wipe with a cloth or turn on the wipers. Be careful not to let the coke stand on your car finish, as the acid just might eat the paint!
